The Venetian Pool
Schedule: Monday to Friday 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Saturday- Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
This is a public swimming pool located in Downtown Coral Gables which initially was a quarry and became what it is today, a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by palm trees and waterfall, there is no single building in sight, the water comes from an underground aquifer, never chemical products are added to water, it is surrounded by original coral stones, there are caves and waterfalls, has an area of sand to avoid getting wet and other open for anything. There is a beach area for children connected to the main pool through an island and a stone bridge to keep beginners safely away from the depths swimmers, it is the ideal place to rest there is not a single building in all directions.
Our advice:
It is the ideal place to take children, is very popular and preferred by locals to celebrate birthdays and enjoy the special Saturdays, the pool facilities were rented for events throughout the year.
Visit the caves and waterfalls that are at the end of the pool.
You can bring your food, but note that no glass containers or coolers are allowed.
With the entrance fee can be removed and re-enter, so you can leave the facility for lunch and return to the arena.
In the bar of the place you can enjoy refreshments.
