This festival originally began in 1976 by the Miami Desing Preservation League the purpose was to attract tourists to the district and sensitize the preservation of every detail of culture and art.
Local designers always find their opportunity to present innovative designs, of course that Art Deco Weekend is an exclusive date where you can expect to see tourists and residents alike walking down Ocean Drive.
